Custom cakes have very wide price ranges. We base our pricing on the size of the cake, and the labour and materials it takes to make the design that you want. This makes every custom cake a different price per serving.
If you have a budget, let us know and we can help with a design that can fit what you are comfortable spending.
We love to talk about cake so we are always down to have you in for a chat about your cake idea. We recommend booking a consultation for weddings, event tables, and large custom work – but a consultation may not be necessary for everyone. If you want to sit down and talk with one of our cake experts just contact us.
Our typical cake tasting includes one dozen mini cupcakes in our signature cupcake flavours. The cost of the tasting is $10 and that price is discounted from the cost of your event. If you require a custom flavoured tasting pack we require a minimum of 48 hours notice and you can choose from any flavour on our cake menu. For specialty cakes and icings not on our menu please contact us at the store.
We try to make all of our cake designs as sturdy as possible, but by nature they are temperature sensitive and fragile. Cakes should be transported in a cool, dry, flat space, not in direct sunlight. When you pick up the cake it will be chilled creating a higher structural integrity, this will gradually decrease as the temperature of the cake increases. You may have to plan around having the cake in a vehicle or out on a table for long periods of time. Feel free to ask our staff for advice on transportation and storage of your cake.
We offer delivery to Edmonton and surrounding area. We take delivery orders on a first-come, first-served basis and require at least 24 hours notice. Delivery charges are based on distance from our shop.
Depending on the number of servings you require from your cake, there is a specific way to cut it. We can provide a cutting chart to you if you require one.
Cake is best stored in a fridge, and should be kept away from other food odours. Buttercream and fondant cakes can pick up flavours from the environment they are stored in. If there are left overs that are not eaten up, the cake is best stored in airtight containers in the fridge. It will last for 7-10 days from time of delivery.
You can also freeze the left overs for a later treat. To freeze the cake, chill first, slice into required portions, wrap each piece individually in and air tight freeze container, freeze. To eat, just pull out and let sit at room temperature till thawed, then enjoy!
